Pachuca Hidalgo, Central Mexico
Medic Outpost conducted pasantes training in Pachuca, Hidalgo, in late April, training an additional five doctors in conducting the Medic Outpost Community First Responder Program. These five pasantes will train 40 community members each over the three months of their posting. That’s an incredible 200 community members who will be educated in how to be a first responder in their rural community! This program truly serves Medic Outpost’s mission to train and equip rural populations in being an active part of their own community’s health.
Medic Outpost also provided badly needed PPE to the largest COVID hospital in Hidalgo. This hospital is 100% COVID patients and is a rapid deployment facility – it is inflatable and movable!
